Program

Shining Light Preschool offers programs for children ages 2-5. Diapers are OK! We also offer a Year-to-Grow for 5 year olds who want to consider an option to Transitional Kindergarten.

We are pleased to offer small classes with 10 to 12 children per class and a ratio of 1 to 6 per adult (including the Co-op). Our curriculum is built to equip children to succeed in Kindergarten by fostering Kindergarten readiness skills through Zoo Phonics & Handwriting without Tears.

Parent Co-op

An integral part of our program is the parent co-op, which involves serving as a classroom helper in your child’s class approximately once a month. In order to make scheduling as easy as possible, parents have the opportunity to sign-up for their Co-op Days on the first day of school. Parents also receive a Class List and have the chance to trade/change these days throughout the school year.
